Henry Hahn passed away this morning at his long-time home in Graham township. His last illness was very brief and the end came as an especially painful shock to his good sons, Charles and Henry, both of whom are living on the old homestead not far from Elmira.
He was a victim of ailments of age, rheumatism particularly afflicting him. He was 73 years of age and had been a resident of Iowa fifty years, having come to Graham township in 1860. He lived there ever since and was widely known. His friends will extend sympathy to the bereaved sons. His wife and daughter preceded him to the Great Beyond some time ago.
The funeral will take place Thursday morning. The cortege will leave the family residence at 9:30 and the services will be held at the Fairview church a half hour later.
