Carl C. Brick, 81, formerly of Wells, Wis., who now resided at 1703 Cedar Grove Dr., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins. The Rev. Kenneth R. Edenhouser will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Brick was born Aug. 14, 1897 in Newton, son of the late Carl A. and Johanna Waak Brick. He owned and operated a cheese factory at Wells for many years and was also a fieldman for various dairy companies. He was presently employed in sales at Central Garage, Potter. He married Esther Olm June 10, 1920 in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1970. Mrs. Brick preceded him in death in April of 1970. Mr. Brick was a lifetime member and past president of Wisconsin Cheesemaker's Association.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl A. and Elline of Livonia, Mich., and Donald and Dawn of Bennendorf, Iowa; two brothers, Frederick and Norbert Brick of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Helmuth (Hertha) Lierman Sr., of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; six grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 pm to 9 pm Friday and Saturday until 11 am and at the church Saturday from noon until the time of service.
