Horace Wayne Howard Sr , 67, passed away April 9, 1996. He was born in Attala County Ms May 9, 1928 the first child born to William A and Eula Eakin Howard Sr. Wayne joined the Army at an early age and served his country in World War II. In 1947 he was hired at Dixie Glass Co and worked both sides of the Mississippi River, Dixie Glass Helena and Clarksdale. At the time of his retirement he was still cutting and installing glass at Cox Glass Co in Clarksdale,Ms.
Left to mourn his death is sons; Horace Jr, Danny, Michael and Eddie, daughters Judy and Wanda Sue, his mother Eula Eakin Howard and 9 siblings; sisters Edna Cain, Annie Province, Wilma Varner, Ruby Horne, Glenda Chapuis, brothers Tommy, Bob, Joe and James " Jimmy " Howard.
