Daughter of the late Rebecca Ann Sherman nee (Sharp) and the late Oliver F Sherman. Ruth and her husband were the owners of Reame's Chicken House in Ferguson, Missouri. Ruth was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church , Daughters of the American Revolution, Louisiana Purchase Chapter, and the Eastern Star. Ruth was a honorary member of Beta Sigma Phi. Ruth and her husband, the late Thurman A Reames, were married on April 20, 1935, in Waterloo, IL.
Ruth is survived by eight children:

Daughter Patty J (Earl) Hillmeyer Florissant, MO
Daughter Ruth A (Dave) Tweedy St Louis, MO
Daughter Rena L (Rich) Ballard of Atlanta, GA
Daughter Bonnie R (Brad) Billings of Quincy, IL
Daughter Susie K (Bill) Saifer of St Louis MO
Son Robert L ( June) Reames of Portland, OR
Son Woodford F Reames of Cleveland, OH
Sister Mary F Pupich of Mckeesport, PA.
Also survived by Forty One Grandchildren, Forty Five Great Grandchildren and Ten Great Great Grandchildren.

Service: Thursday January 9, 2003 at 10:00AM at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Louis Drinnen officiating.
Interment: Blodgett Cemetery. Thursday January 9th 2003. At 2:00PM
