Raymond H. Cheeseman of Millville, on Thursday, July 15, 2010.

Raymond H. Cheeseman, aged 92 years, husband of the late Drucilla Howey Cheeseman; father of Viola M. Cheeseman, Alice A. Taylor, Laura Rae Lee and the late Raymond Cheeseman; stepfather of the late Thomas and Edward Webster and Fanny Callaway.

Cremation and inurnment took place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township. Burial at sea with military burial honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy, embarking from Norfolk, Va.

Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Cedarville.
Raymond H. Cheeseman, 92, died Thursday evening, July 15, 2010, at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, where he had been a resident for two and a half years.
Born Decemeber 9, 1917,in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he was the husband of the Drucilla Howey Cheeseman and had previously resided in Millville and Cedarville. A veteran of World Wr II, Mr. Cheeseman had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the European, Pacific, Asiatic, African and Middle Eastern Theaters. Before his retirement in 1980, he had been employed with the Lumber Company in Vineland for 11 years, and the Armstrong Cork Company for 17 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Viola M. Cheeseman of California, Alice A. (Cheeseman) Taylor of Cedarville, and Laura Rae (Cheeseman) Lee of Allison, Pennsylvania; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Raymond Cheeseman and two stepsons, Thomas and Edward Webster, and a stepdaughter, Fanny Callaway.
Cremation and inurnment took place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township. Burial at sea with military burial honors will be provided by the United States Navy embarking from Norfolk, Virginia.
