A.J. Crisp was born in Virginia, married Elizabeth Burnett in Kentucky 12 May 1818. In the 1850 census they were living in Harrison Co., Indiana, in 1870 they were in Story Co., Iowa. Elizabeth died in 1869 (Memorial #23658511 and #19044192), their daughter Lenora (Mrs. J.C. Elzy) also died in 1871 and is buried near by. (Memorial #23658533 and #19044218)
