Elizabeth Kemnetz, of Greenbrier Lodge, Piper City and formerly of rural Strawn, died at 7:06 p.m. Friday Jan. 26, 1979 at the lodge.
Her funeral was a 11 a.m. Monday, Jan 29, at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Chatsworth, the Rev. Wilbert Burmeister officiating. Burial was in Germanville Cemetery, south of Chatsworth.
Visitation was Sunday at Culkin Memorial Home, Chatsworth, and one hour before the service at the church.
She was born March 17, 1887, at Charlotte Township, a duaghter of John and Ann Gerbracht Neding. She married William Kemnetz Oct. 7, 1908 at Charlotte. He died Ocrober 13, 1950.
Surviving are two sons, Lester, Strawn; and Vernon, Melvin; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Three berothers and three sisters preceded her death.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Chatsworth.
