This school picture was taken at Jobs School in Jobs, Ohio in about 1900 prior to the family's move to Oskaloosa, Iowa where the girls' father, Charles Winchell, was killed in a coal mine accident in 1903. Their mother, Kathryn Winchell, moved back to Nelsonville, Ohio with the two girls shortly after. Their brother, George Edward (Memorial # 35593844), stayed behind in Oskaloosa. Ethel May married Will Harden in Nelsonville in 1906 and had two children, Lelah May and Iola Myrtle before leaving Ohio. The family moved to Bay City, Michigan in 1908 or 1909 and Ethel May died of Septicemia not long after their arrival in Michigan. Callie never married.
