Mrs. Frena Hatten, the daughter of Samuel and Mary Hunsinger, was born April 16, 1837, in Jackson county, Ohio. She was married to James Hatten in August, 1858. To this union were born nine children, six of whom lived to man and womanhood, and were with her during her last, illness. She united with the Christian church in early life and has always remained a faithful member, Sh« wan one of a family of thirteen, only one of which survives her, Henry Hunsinger of Jackson, Ohio. She came to Wyoming in the spring of 1886, and has lived in Hyattville 25 years, and was the first woman to build a house in the town of Hyattville. The surviving children attending her to her last illness were: Mrs. J. K. McClung of Jackson, Ohio; Mrs. Callle Donahue of Hyattville; Mrs. O. T. Gebhart of Basin; Eldrege Hatten of Canada; Mrs. Ed Carothers of Hyattville and James E. Hatten of Hyattville.
Deceased was a woman of many noble dualities and during her residence in Hyattville took an active part in the life of the town and surrounding country. Hundreds of friends, although apprised for some time of her serious illness, were shocked by the news of her death on Monday and will extend to the grief stricken relatives sincere condolence.
