Deceased Name: RONALD C. DAVENPORT

Ronald C. Davenport, 28, of Catlin Street died Thursday at Auburn Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident that evening on Route 5 in Elbridge.

Mr. Davenport was born in Auburn. He was an electrician and had worked for Fortino & Son Electric Service and Burns Electric Co., both in Syracuse, and Upstate Electric Corp. of Manlius. Mr. Davenport was a graduate of Phoenix High School.

Surviving are his wife, the former Julia E. Roebuck; his mother, Pearl Davenport of Phoenix ; three brothers, Donald of Harrisville, George of Syracuse and Tony of Phoenix ; three sisters, Cynthia Davenport of Syracuse, Iva Davenport of Mattydale and Diana Beck of Clearwater, Fla.; and several aunts and uncles.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brew Funeral Home, the Rev. Diana S. Russell officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 48 South St.
