Mary Beatrice Jasper Perkins, 80 years of age, of Mintonville, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, January 2nd, 1976 at her residence following a lingering illness.

Mary was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 30th, 1895, daughter of the late Abraham and Carlotta Dick Jasper. She was a homemaker and a member of the Carter Ridge Baptist Church.

Mary was survived by her loving husband, Alonzo Harrison Perkins, whom she married on September 22nd, 1918; six children, Velber Perkins, Vertrees Perkins, Ezra Perkins, Velva Josephine Cain, Alena Huff, and Audrey Cooper; two step-children, Brent Perkins and Maudie E. Linneman; three sisters, Martha Daulton, Bonnie Hardwick, and Letta Vaught; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sixteen step-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham Jasper and Carlotta Jasper.

Funeral services at were held at 11:00 a.m. at the Carter Ridge Baptist Church with Elders Walter Jones and Lloyd Sewell officiating. The Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky was in charge of the arrangements for Mary.

Burial followed in the Carter Ridge Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
