Baptismal record at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wyandotte states she was born and baptized November 16, 1900, daughter of Valentino Szczepaniak and Victoria Szlatowska. Death Record shows Josephine Stepnick [sic] was stillborn November 16, 1900 in Ecorse [probably the township] because the family was living on the southeast corner of 12th and Elm in Glenwood Village (now part of the city of Wyandotte) in Ecorse Township, Wayne County, Michigan. Family states Josephine was the sixteenth and final child and is buried in her parents' lot in Mt Carmel Cemetery in Wyandotte. Her mother died just two months and twenty-one days later.
