May 18, 1956
MRS. EVERETT R. RUDD - WASHINGTON, May 19 - Mrs. Bessie Rudd, wife of Everett R. Rudd, died here Friday at her home. Beside her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hale and Mrs. W. E. Brooks, both of Washington; four sisters, Mrs. J. A. Shipley of Battleboro, Vt., Mrs. J. B. Alvis, Mrs. J. H. Connor, both of Richmond, and Mrs. William R. Vineyard of Spencer, W. Va.; her stepmother, Mrs. J. T. Freeman, of Richmond and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Deal Funeral Home, Washington, at 2 P.M. Sunday, with burial in Riverview Cemetery, Richmond, at 1 P.M. Monday.
