Illness Fatal, Local Citizen Sunday Night
William Terry Anderson, 88, of 2431 South A Street, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Electa Osborne, residing eight and three-quarter miles Northwest of the city, at 10 o'clock last night.
He suffered a stroke of paralysis a few days ago and was removed to the home of the daughter.
The deceased was the son of James and Mary Anderson and was born November 26, 1849. He was united in marriage to Lavena Poole March 26, 1873. She died in October, 1929.
Surviving are five children, Mrs. Osborne, at whose home he died, Omey Anderson, of near Windfall; James Anderson, Indianapolis; Thomas and Burley Anderson, both of Peru, and two brothers, James Anderson, Summitville, and John Anderson, Kokomo. There are thirty-two grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Windfall Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Polly Couch Boman, of Greentown in charge, assisted by the pastor, Rev. George Windfrey. Burial will be made in the Brookside Cemetery at Windfall.
