Mr. Dobbins was employed by the Mueller Packing Company, Oberlin, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War Two, having fought in the Normandy Invasion.

Calling hours and funeral services were held in the Bogner Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, Ohio. The Reverend Dwight Hayes, minister of Fields Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
