The first three children were born in Chautauqua, N.Y. Two children born in Jackson Co., Michigan. Two more children were born in Eaton Co., MI. They went to Lafayette, Co., WI where there raised their 7 children. Information found in court records state Erastus and Lois homesteaded land in Platte County, Nebraska May 1874. Erastus died in 1876 after which time Lois went back to Wisconsin to live in the household of her son Esek Sisson in Lafayette County. She died in 1881 and is buried in the Old Argyle Cemetery. Next to her was a child, Minnie Sisson, a grandaughter. Minnie's parents were Francis & Emma Sisson, Francis was the 4th child of Erastus & Lois. I saw the stone in the mid 1980's but never photographed it. In the meantime I would like to Thank McCauley-Mitchell for posting a photo for me. I appreciate it!

Erastus is assumed to be buried on the farm in Platte Co, NE where they homesteaded land.
