Julia Clayton Gresham, 87 of Marietta died, Wednesday, December 22, 2010.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Marietta with the Rev. Tommy Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at the Gresham Cemetery.
Mrs. Gresham was born in Cherokee County in 1923 and lived in Cobb County most of her life. She worked in food service at Bells Ferry Elementary School and the Walker School before working in sales at Dunaway Drugs and Rich's. She is the widow of Charlie Hugh Gresham, who died in 1971.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Gunter; four grandchildren, Jennifer Gunter, David Gunter, Hal Gresham, and Jake Gresham; one great granddaughter, Emily Gunter; two brothers, Rev. Wayne Clayton and Rev. Don Clayton; several nieces & nephews.
