OBITUARY -- Freeman F. Upham
was born in Tyringham, Mass.,
April 5, 1822, and died at
Odell, Ill., Jan. 3, 1894.
In 1842 he moved to Burr Oak, Mich.,
at which place he was married to
Olive Howe, Oct. 29, 1843, who
survives him. In 1874 he came to
Illinois [Odell, Livingston County
Illinois]. He was converted at
Burr Oak, Mich., about 1864 and
joined the Methodist church soon
afterwards. He was a loyal
Methodist and a mature christian.

Michigan, with children
Lucy Jane, and Edward Upham.
The 1870 census shows them still in
Michigan, with Lucy Jane, Edward,
Edward's wife Kate (Catherine),
and Edwards's daughter Ella Upham.
(They moved to Illinois in 1874).
The 1880 census shows Freeman and
Olive Upham living in Odell,
Livingston County Illinois, and
Freeman is working in a grocery store.
