Obituary:
Funeral services for Pfc. Allan J. Gaines, 20, of 209 32nd Ave E., will be held at 4 pm Saturday at the Strickland Hayes Chapel with William H. Parsons officiating.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 4 pm Sunday in Andalusia.

Mr. Gaines died April 7th during combat in Vietnam. He was the son of the late Joseph B. Gaines.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Martha Gaines of Tuscaloosa; one brother, Richard Gaines of the U.S. Navy in Germany; one sister, Miss Brenda Gaines of Tuscaloosa; his grandparents, Mrs. Joseph Gaines Sr., of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Will Harris of Andalusia, and several uncles and aunts.
