Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Louise Tesdall, were held at Palestine Lutheran Church October 20.
The Rev. Harry Stoutland was in charge of the service. the Rev. Peder Buland spoke in behalf of the family.
Mrs. Sam Westvold sang two numbers, "I Know of a Sleep in Jesus Name" and "Den Store Hvide Flok."
allbearers ere all grandsons of Mrs. Tesdall—Alvin and Marvin Larson, Glen and Leslie Tesdall, Robert Tesdall and Eldon Scott.
Burial was in Palestine cemetery.
Mrs. Tesdall was born Nov. 14, 1870, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Lewis of Cambridge, and died Oct. 16, 15 5h Gilmore Nursing Home in Nevada at the age of 84 years, 10 months and two days.
She was baptized and confirmed in Palestine Church and grew to young womanhood in the Cambridge community. She was married to Andrew Tesdall Aug. 25, 1892.
The couple had six children—Leslie, Clara, Mattie, Jonas, Albert and Charlotte.
Soon after their marriage they moved to Brunswick, Neb., where they lived until 1905, when they moved to Iowa and settled on a farm south of Ames.
Her husband died in 1934. She continued to live on the farm until 1944, when she moved to Huxley.
For the past six years she made her home with her son Jonas in McCallsburg. She has been in failing health for several years and on Aug. 4, she entered the Gilmore Nursing Home, where she was cared for until her death.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two children, Leslie and Mattie.
She is survived by two sons, Jonas of McCallsburg and Albert of Littleton, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Glen Scott of Ft. Dodge and Mrs. Harry Larson of Minneapolis; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; four half-brothers and three half-sisters.
