Grace A Betts was born on July 24, 1887 to parents Joseph M. & Evelyn M. Betts. She married Wilbur J.Scott on March 4, 1908. Grace and Wilbur had four children; Milton C., Maurine E., Arliene E. & Wilbur G. Grace and Wilbur divorced in 1923. She married James H. Hall, Jr. on February 3, 1925. Grace was an excellent seamstress; sewing clothes and altering dresses and coats. Birthdays and Christmas always included a fine hand made present from Grace. She was talented and artistic. She loved to read, listen to music and dance. Grace was very meticulous about her appearance. She had very long hair that she would brush, comb and braid, wrapping it around the top of her head in a crown. For many years before her death Grace and Jim lived in Tomah, WI. Grace A. (Betts)(Scott) Hall passed away on November 23, 1965 at age 78 and is buried next to her husband James "Jim" Hall at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
