WAPELLO, Iowa -- Marjorie Ellen Stineman, 98, of Wapello and formerly of Grandview, died Friday, August 15, 2014, at the Wapello Nursing & Rehab Center.
The family will meet friends at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the church and for a fellowship lunch at the church following the burial. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the Grandview Community Bible Church. Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. A memorial fund has been established for the benefit of the Grandview Community Bible Church, Great River Hospice and Grandview Community Club.
Marjorie was born on October 29, 1915, on the family farm in Louisa County, the daughter of Ralph Roland and Vinnie B. Fulerton Cross. She married Delno P. Stineman on January 30, 1937, in New Era. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2004.
Her family includes a daughter, Ruth Hamby and husband, Homer; four sons, Dwight Stineman, Lyle Stineman and wife, Connie Sue, Noel Stineman and wife, Connie Kay, and Myron Stineman; 11 grandchildren, Sheldon, Darin, Mark, Jeff, Todd and Chad Stineman, Stuart Hamby, Molly Holliday, Carrie Faust, Amy Adam and Kelly Ricketts; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Forte.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delno; and a great-grandson.
