Surviving: wife, Alice; daughters, Sultana Bennett and Ethel Tincher, both of Chelyan, Sylvia Hill, Betty Harper and Loretta Stewart, all of Dawes, Mary Thatcher of Ypsilanti, Mich.; sons, Willard of Chelyan, Richard of Logan, Zendal Wayne at home; sisters, Carrie Foster of Miami, W.Va., Archie Green of Rhonda; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
