Zana "Jill" Begien, after a battle with cancer. Jill graduated from St. Catherine's School in 1951 before attending Stanford Univ. and graduating in 1955. She worked briefly in San Francisco before joining the CIA in Washington, DC. She was an analyst, specializing in the Middle East. Besides Headquarters assignments, she held overseas posts in Paris, Cairo, Athens, Bombay and Tehran. After retirement from Government service in 1986, she lived in Washington, DC, Charlottesville, and Virginia Beach.
A family burial service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.
