TIPTON-- Orville Forrest (Cube) McDaniel, 97, 459 Mill St., Tipton, died Tuesday at 11:20 a.m. at Tipton County Memorial Hospital after an illness of four weeks. He was born June 29,1876 in Tipton County to James B. and Elizabeth Decker McDaniel. He was married Nov 20, 1896 to Gertha Idocia Marshall, she died Aug 25, 1966. Cube was a retired farmer.
They had 9 children, survivors include three sons, Carl of Lima, Ohio; Eugene of Indianapolis, Marshall of Tipton; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Leap and Mrs. Opal Powers both of Indianapolis, 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sons and two daughters, Orlando Forrest on June 2, 1969, Donald on April 11, 1973 , "Lela" Garnet Whisler on August 15, 1934 and Margaret Cooper on March 4, 1962.
Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements,Rev. Elmore Ryle officiated funeral.
Burial was in the New Lancaster Cemetery.
