=====================================================
Philena was twice married. Her first marriage to William H Rhoades produced two children, before he went off to join the Civil War where he died. Philena with 2 young children returned in 1860 to live with her mother Charlotte for that federal census and then 5 years later met and married Daniel E Lyon, who went on to change the surnames of both children to Lyon.

Her marriage to Daniel E Lyon produced one child, Carrie Eugenia Lyon. Philena used her middle name in later years and her gravestone reflects this.
