Albert grew up on the family farm north of Calhan, Colorado. He married Elsie Kosley of Ramah, Colorado on June 8, 1941. After serving in the Army in WWII and upon returning home, he moved to Pueblo, Colorado and worked in the Steel Mill.
Then he moved to Colorado Springs in 1952, where he worked for Ft. Carson and El Paso County Road and Bridge Department until his retirement in 1975. He loved the Colorado outdoors, especially trout fishing.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife Elsie, son Melvin, and great grandson Ryan. He is survived by sons; James and Robert (Loretta), daughters; Alice (Bobby) and Carol (Larry), six grandchildren and their spouses, fourteen great grandchildren and loving friend and companion Alta Morris.
Services will be held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 27th. A private Inurnment will be held at a later date.
