In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Malik.
Surviving are his wife, Joann Coville Malik and two children, Robert W. Malik and wife Judy and Elvira Filicky and husband Ed all of Uniontown; five grandchildren, Robert W. Malik Jr. and wife Susie of Uniontown, Dawn Filicky of Mantua, Ohio, Cameron Filicky, Eric Filicky, and Matthew Filicky and wife Anita all of Uniontown; one sister, Peggy Fratrich and husband Louis of Uniontown.
Mr. Malik was a Veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army Air Force. He was a Life Member of AMVETS Post 103 Hopwood and also held membership in V. F. W. Post 47 Uniontown, American Legion Post 51 Uniontown, and R. E. M. Hunting Lodge and was retired from Fike's Dairy in Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 14, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini, V. F., officiating. AMVETS Post 103 will conduct Military services at graveside
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
