Major League Baseball Player. Ed Pabst's career lasted only 12 major league games, all of them in the American Association. The interesting thing about his career was that he was traded from the Philadelphia Athletics to the St. Louis Browns only 8 games after his September 26th 1890 debut. He accrued career totals of 12 hits and 3 RBI with a .308 batting average with 3 stolen bases.
