Dr. Walker S. Brownlee conducted services Monday afternoon at Froehley's Funeral Home, Angola, for Alexander Thomson. Mrs. Thomson died suddenly on Friday, Aug. 21, 1970, at his home at 6753 Hamilton Dr., Derby, at the age of 78. Husband of Mary Thomson, he was the father of Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Carberry, John J. and George Thomson, and brother of George, Mrs. Andrew Vogl, Mrs. Emily Marling, Mrs. Jesse Brown, Mrs. Minnie Forster and Mrs. Ruby Monahan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Thomson was a member of the Knights of Malta and the Niagara Mohawk Pioneer Club. Burial was in the First Church of Evans Cemetery."
