Virginia Louise Turner, was the third child of Sherman and Cora Adams of Hazen, Arkansas. Virginia and her husband, Ralph Turner, lived in Mission, Texas where they raised three children: James, Ronald and Sharon.

Virginia spent over 40 years dedicated to making women beautiful through her work in with the Avon Corporation. Women from all over Mission relied on her and many called her 'friend.' Over the years, Virginia earned many top sales awards, as well as being a member of the prestigious Presidents Club.

Virginia passed away peacefully at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Victoria, in Cypress, Texas. During the two years she lived with them, she was surrounded by family and lovingly cared for in every way. Her childhood friend, Betty Beck visited her many times, which delighted her and lifted her spirits. Her devoted caretaker, Elizabeth Sinambela brought comfort and joy to Virginia each day, and for that, her family is forever grateful.

The funeral service: 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial: Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
