Dennis Browning, son of Paul and Doris Ella (Buzzell) Browning, was reported killed in Vietnam.
Browning, a welder, was working with a heavy boat company, in Vietnam.
He was found drowned in the morning, after his work shift was finished. The 22-year old soldier enlisted in August of 1966. Spent a tour of duty in Germany and then went to Vietnam. In August of 1969 he re-enlisted while in Vietnam.
He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1965, as a honor roll student.
After graduation he spent a year working at Bangor Submarine Base and at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a welder.
Note: His mother was Doris Ella Buzzell, born 13 Jan 1925 in Washington, and died in Washington on 24 Oct 2000, her name at death was Doris Ella Irwin.
