Born April 5, 1889 in this county, a daughter of Peter V. and Amanda (McDonald) Smith, she was married March 14, 1911 to Oscar Jacklin, who died April 20, 1952.
Surviving are a son, Clarence Jacklin, Plymouth, two grandsons and three great-grandsons. A sister and a brother preceded in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ewing Mortuary, with the Rev. Charles C. Baxter Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Miller Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Wednesday. (Obit: The Shelbyville news, Feb 16, 1981)
