BONNER, Mrs. Brenda - Age 57, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Friday July 29, 2011 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2 p.m. Rev. Katrina Myers officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Friday. Cremation has already taken place and there will be no public viewing.

Mrs. Brenda (Moore) Bonner was born August 10, 1953 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of J.C. Moore and Elizabeth (Moore) Lowe. Brenda accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Beecher High School and attended Mott Community College. Brenda was employed at Metal Fabricating in Grand Blanc, a division of General Motors, retiring after 19 years of service due to her illness and was a member of UAW Local #1292. She was united in Holy Matrimony in 1975 to David Bonner to this union one daughter was born.

Mrs. Brenda (Moore) Bonner leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Yolanda Bonner of Mt. Morris, MI; mother, Elizabeth Lowe of Flint; two sisters, Eva Waddell and Linda Lofton, both of Davison, MI; three brothers, O'Dell (Brenda) Moore of Grand Blanc, MI, Randolph Moore of Auburn Hills, MI and Marvin Moore of Flint; sister-in-law, Robin Moore of Auburn Hills, MI; five nieces, Leslie, Falon, Marlena, Zabiare, and Randi; five nephews, Brian Waddell, Vance (Tamika) Moore, James (Nicole) McLaurin, Starr Kennedy and favorite nephew, Ryan (Nikia) Roberts of Grand Blanc, MI; a host of aunts and uncles including aunts, Mary (Walter) Lane and Catherine Howard and uncle, Ardis (Helen) Womack; several great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bonner was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Moore; stepfather, Willis Lowe; grandparents; sister-in-law, Marilyn Moore; and brother-in-law, Arthur B. Lofton.
