SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. ARTHUR JEWISON, 73
A Requiem Mass for Mrs. Arthur Jewison, 73, of Janesville who passed away Tuesday evening, September 3, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 8 in the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville with the Rev. Father Harry Jewison, son of the deceased of Worthington officiating. Bishop Edward A. Fitzgerald of the Winona Diocese will conduct the Absolutions. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Arnoldt Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Ann's church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Frank and Ray Sheeran, Joe Groh, Rudy Kopischke, L. P. Arnoldt and Charles Hofman.
Following a year illness, Mrs. Jewison passed away at her home at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. Kathryn Veronica Jewison, daughter of the Late John and Mary Cahill was born August 14, 1890 in rural New Richland. She attended the rural school and was a school teacher for a number of years.
On September 29, 1914, she was united in manniage to Arthur Jewison of Janesville at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville.
She was a member of the St. Ann's Catholic Church, the St. Bernadette Study Club, the Hibernian Society and the Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Art (Fay) Groh, Mrs. Rudy (Grace) Kopischke, Mrs. Frank (Elaine) Sheeran and Mrs. Joe (Ellen) Tetzloff of Janesville; Mrs. Jim (Rita) Byron of St. Mary's Township, Waseca County; four sons, William and Joe of Janesville, Arthur of Madison Lake and the Rev. Father Harry Jewison of Worthington; 49 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Norton of Waseca.
