Burke- In Ridgeville, Nov 27th, 1871, Isabella, wife of David Burke, aged eighty one years, three months, 11 days.
The deceased was the mother of Hon. Stevenson Burke, and possessed many traits that characterized her as a woman of unusual energy and industry.
She was born in the north of Ireland August 16, 1790 and emigrated with her husband to New York nearly fifty years ago.. In the spring of 1834 she removed to Lorain county and settled in Ridgeville where she resided until the time of her decease. She was a woman of strong domestic affections, beloved by her children whose early training received her most careful attention and to whom her memory will ever remain precious.
