Ryan Lewis, devoted husband of Stephanie Lewis of Calgary, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011 following a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 27 years.
Ryan was born in Hemel Hempstead, Herts, England and immigtated to Canada with his family in 1994. He attended school at Nellie McClung School, John Ware Jr. High School and gratuated from Henry Wisewood in 2001. Ryan attended DeVry, receiving his degree in Information Systems in 2005. He began his career with Canadian Natural Resourses Ltd. in December, 2005 continuing until his passing. Ryan married Stephanie Boisseau in September, 2007. Ryan will be remembered for his incisive wit and his consideration for others. He was always smiling and laughing even while he was enduring a very serious illness. Two passions in Ryan's life was his dedication as a Manchester United fan and writing poetry.
Ryan is survived by his loving wife Stephanie; two sons Ethan and William; parents Angela and Clinton Lewis; brother Dylan Lewis, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Maureen and Lucky Lewis, Bridie and Ron Davies; and uncle Ray Bailey.
