"Carson Darrel Phillips, 13 month old son of Ashley MacLean Phillips and Jamie Darrel Phillips died accidentally Friday afternoon, October 16, 2009. Born on September 4, 2008 in Lake City, Carson will forever be remembered as a very playful, happy baby who liked listening to country music and loved to dance.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Jaden Manuel Phillips; paternal grandparents, Pam & Ted Davis; Darrel & Ann Phillips; paternal great-grandparents, Marvin & Linda Taylor; Bonnie & Jerry Ward all of Lake City; maternal grandparents, Frederick "Lucky" MacLean of Lake City; and Cheri Lasky of Minnesota and maternal great-grandfather, Reese Lasky of Ocala, Florida. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Carson will be conducted at 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in the chapel of the Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Bozeman officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel of the funeral home. Private family interment services will be held.
