Two pages from his Military records state he died on 7 Mar 1862. You have a different date. If you don't want to change would you please put the military page source in his notes? Thanks, Mindy
Page 7 From the Adjutant & Inspector General's Office. Private H. D. Cantrell, Company C, 14th (Power's) Arkansas Infantry, CSA, enlisted July 11, 1861 for 12 mos. killed 7 Mar 1862.
Page 8 From the Adjutant & Inspector General's Office. Private H. D. Cantrell, Company C, 14th (Power's) Arkansas Infantry, CSA, enlisted July 11, 1861 for 12 mos. killed 7 Mar 1862.

NOTE: Mindy, it's not that I don't want to make the change, it just that the researchers who originally prepared this memorial are not available to reference their source and I think, perhaps, both should be represented.

I was interested in Mindy’s comments and the reply. Mindy is right about Henry David Cantrell’s service record regarding the pages she referenced. However, on page 5 of the same record it states that Henry was mortally wounded on 7 March 1862 and that he died from said wound about 26 March 1862. For me that clarifies the two different dates. The other pages do not separate his being mortally wounded and his actual death.
