Allen Gilkey, 97, died Sunday in the Russell Nursing Home, Albany, where he had lived for some time.

Survivors include four sons, 11165938 George of the The Plains, Harry of San Diego, Calif., 11165930 Guy of Athens, 6113347 Pearl of Pomeroy Route 4; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Akers of Brownsville, Pa., Mrs. Rhoda Lay of Racine, W.Va., a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Ewing Funeral Home, Pomeroy, by the Rev. Cecil Wise and burial will be in Burlingham Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime.
