WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Mildred Acker, 94, are set for 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Hermanson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
Mrs. Acker died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at Stone Brook Assisted Living Center in Denison.
She was born on July 19, 1917 in Cooke County.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Short of Sherman; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is set for today from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
