"TORMEY, Verda E., in Martinez, June 17, 1974, loving daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Tormey, beloved sister of the late Ruth Tormey, the late May H. O'Leary, the late John P. Tormey, the late Leo F. Tormey, the late Louis Tormey, the late Clement C. Tormey and the late Linus J. Tormey. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A native of Contra Costa County, aged 80 years. A member of St. Anne's YLI No. 78 of Pinole.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at 9 a.m. Friday, June 21 from the Connolly & Taylor Chapel, 4000 Alhambra Ave., Martinez thence to St. Catherine's Church where a Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette. Recitation of the Rosary at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Connolly & Taylor Chapel."

She is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
