Joseph William Harris, 81, of Rt. 7, Box 329-A, Texarkana, Ark., died in a Hope, Ark., nursing home Saturday after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the House of Prayer on Grim St. with the Rev. Bob Holden officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Texarkana Funeral Home. Mr. Harris was born Dec 24, 1892, in Texarkana, and had been a lifetime resident. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Four States Barracks no. 1119. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rodena Harris of Texarkana; 2 sons, Earl Harris of Phoenix, Ari., and Walter Harris of Texarkana, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews
