Ada F. Dean, 74, of Lafayette, died at 5:12 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette.
She was born March 25, 1937 in Lafayette to the late Hugh Sayers Meharry and Helen Christine Whitehead Meharry. She married William J. Dean in 1968. He died in 1979.
Surviving are two sons, William Alan Dean (wife: Gail) of Noblesville and Anthony Wayne Dean of Indianapolis; two sisters, Patricia McNeil (husband: Edwin) of Lafayette and Margaret Horn (husband: Ronald) of Crawfordsville; 2 grandchildren, Kada Dean and James Dean of Roachdale and several cousins.
