She was born July 16, 1924 in Springfield to Martin and Genevieve Larocca Segretto. She married John Albertine on February 5, 1944 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 1965. Her parents and one sister, Constance Webb also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn A. (Gary) Williams of Springfield and Mary Jo (John) Tanler of Chicago; two sons, John (Armie) Albertine of Thousand Oaks, CA and Paul (Sue) Albertine of Chicago; three grandchildren, John Russell, Christopher and Paul Joseph Albertine; three brothers, Joseph (Genevieve) Segretto and Carl (Margie) Segretto, both of Springfield and Sam Segretto of Lincoln and several nieces.
Josephine was a lifelong resident of Springfield and retired after ten years of service with the State of Illinois. She was member of St. Agnes Church and enjoyed reading, walking and BINGO.
Visitation: 9:30-10:30 am, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Agnes Church.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Agnes Church with Reverend Robert Jallas officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Agnes Church.
