Death of J. A. Gyger.
John A. Gyger, aged 37 years, died Sunday afternoon at the family residence, 1233 Humboldt street, after a three weeks' illness of pneumonia. Mr. Gyger has resided in this county for a number of years and is well known in this city. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America at Wahl. He is survived by his widow and five children, also by his father, three brothers and three sisters--Emil Gyger and Godfred Gyger, of this city, and Alfred Gyger, of Seattle; Mrs. Reinhardt, Seattle; Mrs. Schwald, Seattle, and Mrs. Ernest, Seattle. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of Stokes & Wickman, the Rev. E. D. Hornschuh, pastor of the Evangelical Association being the officiating clergyman. Interment took place in Bay View Cemetery.
