    Cora Ruth Hyatt, 81, of Sheridan died Thursday, January 30th at the Provena McAuley Manor in Aurora.
    She was born February 17, 1921 in Mill Run, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Rebecca (Rugg) Miner. She married Frederick W. Hyatt September 6, 1941 in Sheridan. Her husband died September 4, 1977. She had retired after 23 years work at the Western Electric Manufacturing Co. She loved growing flowers and arranging them at the Sheridan United Methodist Church where she was a member and she always enjoyed bowling.
    She is survived by her two daughters, Sally Dreishmire of Plano, Peggy (Paul) Bermel of Sheridan; a son, Rick (Mary) Hyatt of St. Charles; four grandchildren, Dawn (Steve) Osborne of Earlville, Lisa Dreishmire of Dallas, Texas, Greg Dreishmire of Plano, Becki Bermel of Spring Valley; three great-grandchildren, Jacqui Osborne, Brandon Osborne, David Schwarz and her special friend, Arthur Neuendorf of Sandwich.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick W. Hyatt; a son, Frederick E. Hyatt; three sisters, Rachel Peck, Violet Bottomley, Ina Nicholson; two brothers, Dale Miner and Ted Miner.
    Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 3rd with Rev. Jenny Weber officiating at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd, 335 W. Church St., Sheridan, IL 60551-0027, phone 815-496-2003. Burial will be at the Sheridan Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Greg Dreishmire, Steve Osborne, Ed Mufich, Ron Bernard, Gary Tirevold and Bob Yuhas.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials my be directed to: the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research, One Intrepid Square, West 46th & 12th Ave., New York, NY 10036.
