Agnes married Gene Cummiskey in 1946 and enjoyed 50 years of marriage. She was actively involved at Wheaton Wesleyan Church, and also the Living Water Wesleyan Church in Ocala, FL. She was an advocate for Senior Adults. Her love for her family was exceeded only by her love for God. Her great faith and sterling character added dignity to everything that her life touched.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Sally) Cummiskey of Rochester, IL; three daughters, Barbara (Brad) Snyder of Roanoke, VA, Janette (Richard) Gee of Ocala, FL, and Amy (Trey) Adams of Pleasant Prairie, WI; 12 grandchildren; her great-grandson; her sister, Gladys Meador of Vandalia, IL; her brother, Kenneth (Marge) Buchholz of Mt. Pleasant, MI; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 11:00 A.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
