note from her father's journal:
June 12. Wednesday. Our little darling Zelma died this morning at 10 minutes to three
o'clock. We took her to Thatcher and buried her at 5 P.M. This is the fourth heavy blow that has fallen upon Julia and she feels it quite keenly. She always took more comfort with this child than any other. It seemed to be a companion in the absence of others.
8 Aug 2011 - Thatcher Cemetery does not have record of her, but they said years ago the "old" Thatcher Cemetery was moved because it was on low ground and when it rained it washed out the cemetery. A new cemetery on higher ground was started and all marked graves were moved. [A football field now covers the old cemetery].
