Edna Gay Goff
ELIZABETH- Edna Gay Goff 85, of Two Ripple community, Wirt County, died Feb. 7, 1999, at Camden-Clark Hospital.
She was born Aug 19, 1913 in Shock, Gilmer County, a daughter of the late James Oscar and Minnie May Mitchell Ruble. She was a cook at Two Ripple Elementary School and for several years was a cook at the Home Resturant in Elizabeth. She wa a former member of the Two Ripple Homemakers Club.
Survived by five sons and four daughters, 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Goff in 1986; three sons, Darrell Ray Goff in 1951, Edward Wayne Goff in 1991, and Charles Richard Goff in 1998; five brothers, Homer Ray Ruble, Victor Ruble, Jim Ruble, Ed Ruble, and Fred Ruble; and two sisters Mary Bruce and Victoria Ruble.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth, the Rev. David Morris and Stanley officiating. Burial in Two Ripple Baptist Church Cemetery.
